OUR DESIGN APPROACH
Our work is underpinned by Design Thinking

CO-DESIGN PROCESS
Design thinking provides an iterative, user-focused, and innovative method for solving problems in the health space. There is a need for solutions that bring a wide range of stakeholders together to improve quality, increase efficacy and effectiveness, and develop sustainable practices – design thinking offers a method to achieve this.
1
EMPATHISE
The initial phase of design thinking involves immersing oneself in the user's world to gain profound insights into their needs, experiences, motivations, challenges, and problems. This requires a deliberate effort to suspend preconceived notions and assumptions.
2
DEFINE
Building upon the empathetic understanding gained, the define phase focuses on interpreting and analysing observations to articulate the core problem. Through this process, designers generate problem statements that serve as the foundation for crafting solutions.
3
IDEATION
With a clearly defined problem, the ideation phase encourages the generation of creative ideas to address the identified challenges. Designers aim to break free from conventional thinking, fostering an environment that promotes alternative perspectives.
4
PROTOTYPE
Once a promising idea is selected from the ideation phase, the design team moves on to the prototyping stage. Here, the chosen concept is transformed into tangible representations. Prototypes serve as low-fidelity, cost-effective tools for testing ideas rapidly.
5
TEST
The final phase involves iterative testing of the complete product or service, incorporating the refined solutions identified during the prototyping phase. This iterative process allows designers to continuously refine and improve the product or service based on real-world feedback.
