Cultural considerations in childhood nutrition: Insights from Australian migrant families
Scoping of Australian nutrition resources for early childhood found 46 translated resources and no culturally adapted resources for Mandarin speaking families (~2.8% of the population). It is important for families from all cultural backgrounds to have equitable access to evidence-based nutrition resources that are considerate of language and culture. As part of a larger project—the Grow&Go Toolbox—a range of new resources were co-designed with consumers.
